Someone asked my yesterday why I am working so hard to support the youth... the answer is simple I love them (from a distance of course). That is the deep reason but there are others. Camp was one of the most important things in my young adult life. Mission trips served to root me in the principles of Christ and my true salvation came on one of those trips. I believe in the ministry that Big Lake is doing with our youth. I also believe that going to State Convention, National Convention and other trips are important for spiritual development. I know that God is at work and I know events like these provide moments of conversion for thousands of teens each year and that is worth $10 to me; it is worth so much more than that to me. I don't mind selling raffle tickets and bidding on pies, buying scrip or handing a kid at work $5 for lunch. Kids need people that are on their side.
If you want to by a Thirty-One raffle ticket more info can be found here.
If you have no interest in Thirty-One bags but want to support a worthy cause anyway you can click here.
Thanks!
